Dear Wonderful Blog Readers,
I am unplugging, traveling, and taking a fortnight’s vacation from the blog. I’ll be back with you on Friday, 1 June with my 101st blog post and more Juliette Gordon Low tidbits. I might also have some interesting news from my publisher, Viking/Penguin.
In the meantime, think up some topics for me, please! I always love hearing from you.
Thanks,
Stacy
Thank you for the very well written and researched biography of Juliette Gordon Low. I am a girl scout leader for my 10 year old daughter’s troop. I was also a scout myself for many years.
Most of what I read about Juliette Low was new to me. It was a wonderful book and a great education on so many levels.
I will share my thoughts with the leaders in my service area as well as the parents of our scouts.
I appreciated that how you focused on Juliette and her formation as a person and then on scouting and did not stray to discuss the many social issues that surrounded her throughout her life. You touched on these issues, but did not lose your focus of Juliette Low.
This book is a gift to scouts and non-scouts alike. Truly a masterpiece that ties together people, ideas, and the future through the eyes of Juliette Low.
Thank you. Your hard work is evident and appreciated.

Thank you so very much, Mrs. Malley, for your kind comments about my biography of Juliette Gordon Low. I am thrilled beyond words that you enjoyed the book and learned more about Daisy Low. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your having taken the time to write with your comments.
